Regional Community Collective Hub

A central space for community, culture, and collaboration

The Regional Community Collective Hub is a physical and organisational space in Leonora designed to bring together health, education, and environmental programs under one community-led roof. It is not a government facility or a service centre — it is a community hub, shaped by and for the people of the Northern Goldfields.

The Hub creates a space where community members can access services, connect with each other, and participate in programs that are grounded in cultural knowledge and local leadership. It is designed to reduce the fragmentation of services that remote communities often experience, and to ensure that what is delivered here is actually wanted and needed by the people it serves.

Cultural healing is central to the Hub's purpose. We recognise that strong communities need more than services — they need spaces where culture is respected, where Elders are heard, and where the next generation can connect to Country and community.

Building for the long term

Health Programs

Culturally safe health services delivered in partnership with Curtin University Rural Health, addressing the specific needs of Northern Goldfields communities.

Education Initiatives

Education programs that build on community strengths, support young people from early childhood through to adult learning, and create meaningful pathways.

Environmental Programs

Land care, native plant propagation, and environmental stewardship programs developed with CSIRO support and grounded in traditional ecological knowledge.

Community-led from the ground up

The Hub is not something being done to the community — it is something being built by the community. Every decision about what programs run, how they are delivered, and who is involved comes back to the people of the Northern Goldfields.

We work with government, universities, and research organisations as partners — not as directors. Their role is to support what the community is building, not to define it.
